For starters, MOG is a social music website where people blog about the music that they are into. Yesterday, a Mogger (this is what we call a person that blogs on MOG) by the name of Fistula Spume wrote up a review our track, “Neighbors”.
The following is an excerpt from Fistula’s post:
Fellow Mogger davidaarong has a band called The Long Division which he will be self releasing an EP for this summer. The Long division is an internet collaboration between David, who hails from California, and Jef who is from Ontario Canada. The music sounds really good. You can check out more on the band’s MySpace and also at thesixtyone. The track I’m posting is “Neighbors”. I like how it has a kind of quiet stomp with tiny beats. There’s a kind of small drive to the rhythm that I find pleasant. I quite like the song “Honey Pot” as well. It’s got a kind of Kelley Polar vibe going on. I like how clean the group sounds with the synths as well… click here to read the rest: http://mog.com/fistula_spume/blog_post/150554#comments
Here is some feedback from other moggers that listened:

The player wasn’t working for me when you posted this earlier so I came back & boy I’m glad I did. Liking this alot, thanks for the headsup. It has a real ’80s synth pop sound ala Erasure. Good stuff.
Ok.. Sure.. We’ve only been a band for about a month
BUT..
As they say, you can never be too prepared..
I’m not going to attempt to write my speech just yet. There are far too many things to consider. There is however, one thing I’d like to get out of the way right away. Who am I going to thank?
After the obvious people closest to me, it gets a little tougher. If I mention so and so, someone else might be offended that they weren’t thanked. I believe the only reasonable solution is to start auctioning my thank-yous right away.
If you would like to be thanked on international television in front of a roomful of superstars like Paris Hilton, J-Lo and Lil’ Bow Wow, start the bidding…
Do I hear $1
